Remembering Mother Mallie (1938 - 2008)

Mother Mallie was a spiritual mother to many and the biological mother to four. She paved the way for many women answering the call to ministry. She was part of the powerful “Daughters of Thunder” preaching team and she co-founded the “Be Still and Know” Women’s Retreat. It was at one of these retreats that her daughter Michelle would her receive her calling to “preach”. Preach Sista!’s Be Still: Soul Care Retreats, is named in honor of Mother Mallie’s trailblazing work in women’s ministry. She is dearly missed and deeply loved. Her legacy lives on.
